HCHC is hosting the Hornets Sled Hockey team for our second annual Benefit Game on Wednesday, December 21st from 8:30pm-10pm at Darien Sportsplex. The Hornet Sled Hockey team consists of a great group of kids ages 5-20 who have physical disabilities, yet are determined to play ice hockey. As almost all children do, they want the opportunity to participate in sports and to feel the camaraderie of being part of a team. In some cases, it's not even to play hockey for some, it is their only freedom outside of a wheelchair or walker. The Hornet Program is fully funded by donations and 100% of the money collected goes directly to equipment and ice time. We hope that you will make a donation and also come out to the game to cheer on the Hornet players as they play Hinsdale Central's Hockey Club members.
